If my memory serves e correct many of the presidents are former governers (Regan, Bush 1 and 2, Clinton). That pretty much gives you experiance enough plus since clinton was governer you  knew he could pull Arkansas unlike with a senator when that is not for certain. And for the record Biden is gangsta he ain't running on the undercard of anybody, he been done cursed Edwards out at the debate. He is to strong of a personality and would steel the show. Plus he wouldnt help with Edwards unpopularity in NC. Edwards would have a chance if he could pull another sourthern runningmate like Bill Nelson (D-FL) which is a swing state. He would have to have a running mate that couls help him pull at least one red state in order to win and he won't have his own.
