It's fun now, but just wait 'til they start clogging your snail mail box... especially when you're waiting for an acceptance from your dream school.  You'll be screaming, DAMN YOU AVE MARIA! at the top of your lungs.   >:(

Exactly what was happening to me last winter.

You mean it's not normal to do that everyday?  Oh....

That made me laugh out loud in my office.  Now my coworker is looking at me funny.

Pssst.... wait 'til he figures out Asians aren't URMs and NYU offers fee waivers to everyone with high LSAT scores.  Tee hee.   ;D  And they haven't seen his deplorable GPA yet.  Sweeeeet!

I got one, too.  Is this for this year or next year?  It seems like they are waiving the fee only if I apply for the upcoming term.

Likewise.

I thought I was special :(

Seriously though, 2005? I still have another year of undergrad!

Yeah, I know, I do too.  It means they probably just didn't get enough acceptances from the offers they sent out this year.  Still, some states (I know this is true of Texas, at least) will let you start law school as long as you have finished a certain number of undergrad units even if you haven't finished your degree.  So, I guess if anyone really wants to get started now, this might be worth checking out....

Not sure where you received that information.  You must have earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university to go to UT Law.  The ABA requirement is only 3/4 of the work required for a degree, so it is possible others would not require it.

And it would be extremely unlikely that any top law school had an issue filling seats this year.  In fact, a few have sent requests for admitted students to defer for a year, which is unusual.
