What do y'all think about those shows where people get extensive plastic surgery to go from average/good looking to beauty pageant good looking? (The Swan, that Japanese one, etc.)  What about the shows where people get procedures to make them look like a certain celebrity?

 >:(

There is a reason for that...haha ;)

i didn't see Golden Retrievers on that list :-\ :'(

I'm with you E...at least put a black dog up if you're going to be in BLSD..:)  And I don't mean a black dog as in the color of its coat, but a black dog as in a dog that black people would have.  You know..pit bull, rottweiler, etc.  haha.  So I'm watching this commercial and see a black family outside playing with their dog.  It was a dog that no black person on the face of the earth would have (in my mind at least).  It was very clear who made the decision for what dog to go with... :)
We're not accepting this CHANGE UP in the rules. Period. American presidents have been in the bed with organized crime, corporate pilferers, and the like for years. And all u want to put on this man is that his pastor said "Gotdamn America?" Hell, America.U got off pretty damn well, if you ask me...

i would get a little bit of lipo, but i am not convinved that similar results cannot be gained through starvation.

When I was in high school, I was 5'9, 130 lbs with thighs that rubbed together and saddlebags.  When I finished basic training at 21, I was still 5'9 (go figure), 125 lbs and in the best shape of my life, with thighs that rubbed together and saddlebags.  That's when I figured they were there to stay, unless I got someone to Hoover them out of town.  Some fat just doesn't want to budge!

you laugh, but you bring up a good point!  so many celebrities (primarily female) in hollywood have the same bodies.  sure, they work out, but so do a lot of people that fail to achieve similar results.  i think extreme dieting is the trick.

i agree with you.  i have heard that you can only hope to deplete fat cells, not get rid of them entirely.  conversely, i have heard that adults generally do not put on new fat cells, just fill up their exisiting ones.  liposuction and dieting is fascinating to me.

My sister is very thin, diets and excercises all the time (in fact she is certified as a personal trainer) and still has saddlebags. So, basically Twarga's right.
When you have somebody dying because they are poor and black or poor and white or because of whatever they are ... that erases everything that's great about this country.

Hey, all I know is that since I had the lipo in 2003, my thighs (both inner and outer look really good).  My size is the same, but I look really good in jeans now.... just ask hubby!   :-*

Please do not take this the wrong way, but did you get a lower body reconstruction of some sort?  Your plastic surgery sounds much more severe than the procedure I desire.  I do not have saddlebags and do not anticipate looking different in jeans.  I just hope to have more space between my thighs.  I do not want to change the overall shape of my legs…I like my genes :)
