Evidence:

Preptests: usually got 3-6 wrong in LG, 3-4 in LR, and 1-3 wrong in RC.

June 2K5: 4 wrong in LG, 0 in LR, and 1 in RC.

Do you guys think this is true too, based on your score breakdowns?

No.

I'm typically weak at LG and strong at RC.  My results:  8 wrong in RC, 1 wrong in LG.  Go freakin' figure.  :-\

I completely agree. I was scoring in the 150s and I just got a 162. Great test for me.

I agree.  Either this or performing well under pressure was the key for me.

I just had time to look at my answer sheet and saw that I actually missed 2 on Games (which I thought I'd aced), 2 on LR, and 1 on RC.

RC is usually strong for me, so I guess i would agree with the OP.  I have to look at games, though - I  may have misbubbled (wrong answer were C, E on consecutive questions that should have been E,C) or misread the questions.. that was my last section, and I guess I got a little lazy.  Oh, well, I'm still very happy with my score (175).

Wow, the games are always my weakest section but usually I do well on the LR and Reading..but I missed more than usual on the reading and BOMBED the games (8 points), anyway I am not far off from what I need (160) being that I did score a 156 and considering I completely lost it on the games I am wondering what some of you might suggest..I tried the Logic games bible, but we see how well that worked!!!!?? Anyway, I know if I can work on the games I can do a bit better, I just don't know how to begin/......

i usually get 100% on RC and Games and am weak on LR.

6x LR
5x RC
3x Games

I performed completely oppositely (thats not a word  ::)...

I agree. My games raw score was substantially (say 15%) higher then my recent preptests. My LR OTOH while good, was no better then my best performaces, while my RC while not bad at all, was not near my best.

The result was a score at the top of my range-a 170 rather then a 164 or 165.

There were fewer LG questions though. I only missed five on the whole LG section and am atrociously weak at the games. But the other sections (esp RC) were harder than usual. 11 wrong for me is what I expect from the games, not RC. Since it was longer, there were more to miss. I missed 8 in total across both LR sections. So while my strengths were LR,RC,LG my score says it was LG, LR, RC which is nuts.

If they'd made the games longer and RC shorter (and possibly easier, I dunno) I would have prolly gotten the exact same score. All that would change would be where I miss my points.

Completely agree -  I always ace AR no matter how hard or easy, have been averaging 166-169 and ended up with a 163 on this test thanks to RC.  Those weak at LG really had a nice thing handed to them.
