hey, no hard feelings.  i really am pulling for uva, anyway.  thanks for the lease info.  i guess i should call michigan and find out about breaking the lease...i just didnt want to admit that i am commiting to their school but would rather be elsewhere.  good luck with upenn...seems like one school where there could actually be light at the end of the waitlist  ;)

Good to know that they might be letting people in off of the waitlist.  I was under the impression (from some of the emails they sent out regarding the waitlist) that the acceptance rate off of the waitlist was significantly lower then for the intial rounds and that in some years they did not admit anyone off of it.  I have deferred a year at BC in order to move to Philly with my boyfriend who will be attending Wharton but it sure would be nice to be able to start this fall!  I am also in the camp of hope for the best but prepare for the worst (hence I have started looking for a job in the Philly area!)
