They probably preload the scores.

If I was the LSAC Sys Admin, I would load the scores and do testing Wed/Thu.
Make scores available Friday morning.
Then start sending emails.

Is the site usually updated before they send emails? Or is it generally simultaneous?

perhaps to load the scores they have to take the server down. I remember the day the scores came in October I think the LSAC website was totally unavailable. I think sending the scores out friday night makes the most sense, they don't have to deal with upset test-takers calling them up. I expect the scores will start being sent starting 6 pm on Friday.

what i'm confused about is the 9 hour delay between email notification and telescore availability - or, the theoretical delay that supposed to occur monday.

previous lsat takers who have received email notifacation - how long did it take you to receive your score online after you got the email? did you bother to check?

The score will either be available online first, or they will come simultaneously. I think they make it avaialabe and send the email at the same time, but with mine there was like a 2 minute delay on the email, which was probably due to it travelling through cyberspace.

My results came the Friday before the Monday they were supposed to arrive.  I still have the email.  It arrived at 1:16pm.  I was surprised to find it in my inbox because I wasn't expecting it until Monday.  They used a little red exclamation point flag so I wouldn't miss it.  Best wishes to all awaiting results
