Prep test 38
« on: June 09, 2004, 08:37:33 PM »
I just took 38.  I finally seemed to get LR under control, with 21/24 and 23/26.  I'm really happy about that.  And I got my standard 3/26 for RC.  But games...18/24.  I haven't done that in a few weeks.  The game with the symphonies and the intruments used screwed me up, and I initially had trouble with the game about 3 people demonstrating 6 farm activities.  Ugh.  I ended up with a 168, and missed the 170 by two damn questions that would've come from games.

Although I know games is usually a strong point, I suppose I should just be happy that I've gotten my focus back with LR.  I think with the last few previous sections, I was kind of coasting, and not actively attacking the questions as much.  Games will come an go, and I'll just have to hope that come Monday, they give us ones I can actually do.

I think you're gonna do great on Monday, you've got the most consistent scores out of anyone I've seen...

I relate to your adventures with LR, I was doing good but then I started coasting on that too, I seem to be back to normal again in the last few exams...

Yeah, I agree, I'm also the most consistant person I've seen.  M2 is close, but his range is a bit bigger than mine.  Hard not to be though, with my range of mainly 166-169.  It's good and bad being this consistant.  Sometimes it's frustrating because I'm also consistantly 2 right answers away from my goal of 170.  It's nice though that I know I'm likely to do very well on the test, 170 aside.  It's also a little scary though, since I wonder if sometimes I'm setting myself up for a huge disappointment, coming out of the test thinking "oh, i was so consistant and will probably get a 168." and then find out I got like a 163.  I'd cry for days man.  So a bigger range would probably keep me more realistic about my scores.

At this point though, I'm not really worried.  These are just my scary bedtime thoughts.  I know, in my heart, that I'm as ready as I'll ever be, and I've done all I can to do my best.  So c'est la vie!
