Am I the only one who thinks the Jury was correct?
« on: June 13, 2005, 05:36:17 PM »
Seems like I am the only one who realizes that the prosecution did not have evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he was guilty... Any body else out there glad about the verdict??

Not glad about the verdict, but I think they made the correct choice given the evidence that I heard about.

I agree with the verdict, allthough I assume he's molested some kid at some point in his life.  Prosecution did a horrible job with their absurd claims of the family being held captive in Neverland, and trying to convince macauley culkin that jackson molested him while he was sleeping.  The mother had zero credibility as well.  Aside from the largely irrelevant peripheral evidence, its really just an uncorroborated accusation, which is tough to prove beyond a reasonable doubt.

I agree with the verdict based on the evidence.  I also agree with the jury member who said that he still thought that Michael probably did do those things.

The real loser in this case is that poor kid.  His Mother should be shot.

America is still the most racist country in the world. If that was a black man being tried for child molestation, he would have gotten the maximum sentence! Damn racists.  >:(

He probaby should've at least been convicted on the "Jesus Juice" and showing porn charges.  Maybe that would've also helped him realize that he really needs to get his Shite together.

But yeah, you can put a kooky, scamming mom up there and expect it not to hurt the case.

I only hope that if anyone has been molested by Michael (quite likely), that that person comes back and kicks the *&^% out of him when fully grown.

said thing is- it wasnt his mom on trial.  A lot of people have f-d up parents, but it doesnt mean they werent molested.

sigh.

its so crazy how stuuuuuuuuupid the prosecution was.  He is still guilty though, and i think they could have had a case if they didnt go out of their way to alienate the jurora by bringing his dumbass mom in
big. fat. manly.

The Mom SHOULD have been on trial, too.  I think that she was guilty of prostituting her son out in hopes of a big pay day.
