I think I've spent close to $1400 so far, the biggest chunk coming from a prepcourse and the actual LSAT fee.

After applications and such, I think my total pre-law bill will come to $1700.

That's hella expensive, considering it's all coming out of my pocket. At least the price of gas went down.

Keep in mind, this does not include books that aid in the application process (e.g. personal statement books), nor lsat books and real lsats that I plan to buy within the next month. 

I plan to apply to about 15 law schools.  Assuming the application fee is about $70 per school, I'm looking at
about $1050, easily.  And lets not even add in tuition, room & board, etc.

To put it mildly, this *&^% is expensive.

HA, how funny! Apparently you don't live in California.  Down the street from my house, the gas is $2.40.  It's been that way for weeks now.

I don't even want to think about it.  Start at 200 for LSAT and LSDAS, add another 80 for prep books, another 90 for tests (10 actual, 10 more, and 5 single tests), the 395 for the ps class...

I refuse to add that up.  Ugh...
