What about networking your laser printer? Do any of the printers discussed above have network capabilities or is there an adapter you can get? I want to put my printer into a hole somewhere and not think about it except when I get up off the couch to collect printouts.

OK the dell 1700 laser printer arrived yesterday...and it is even better than I imagined. I printed up a 20 page document on the draft setting, and I swear it was done in under a minute.Plus, the draft setting is 600dpi...it also has two clearer settings (the best being 1200 dpi) I believe that the HP and Samusung only go up to 600dpi. Well the 600dpi is probably as clear as I would ever need, so the I'm sure that the HP and Samsung would have been fine, but it is nice to know that I can bump it up to 1200 for resumes and the like.

I can see this being a hassle if you run out in the middle of something and have to order it.
