this is all very true... there are times when you'll even forget to call your family..friends or SO.. because you'll be on the grind..
i remember that time all too well... whenever i would talk to people i wouldn't even mention law or school

.. sometimes you have to do something to get your mind off of the stress and studying..
if you make a schedule and stick to it..you should be able to balance just fine..
i honestly believe that if i wasn't in a dual degree program..i would have had more time for other things...
interchanging the two was a beast and i do not advise that option to anyone...
sure having a master's degree and a professional degree is nice..but my quality of life those three yrs?

my parents used to have a running joke
that's right we do have a daughter

stay off of BLSD in the fall.
I know you probably didn't mean to hit on it, HBCU, but you hit on a major point that I would add. Remember that you are a person. Please take a shower before you sit next to me in contracts. And remember to call your mom--she's worried about you. Honestly. These sound like minor things now, but when you get to be a 1L, you will understand what I'm talking about. Even though you could spend all of your time getting the little nuances of cases, and perfecting your outlines and briefs and memos, get what you need to know in as little time as possible, and then go do something fun. Or something that is not related to law school. Your mind, body and soul will greatly appreciate it.
I cosign everything that has been said so far by the 2Ls.
