this is all very true... there are times when you'll even forget to call your family..friends or SO.. because you'll be on the grind..

i remember that time all too well... whenever i would talk to people i wouldn't even mention law or school  :D .. sometimes you have to do something to get your mind off of the stress and studying..

if you make a schedule and stick to it..you should be able to balance just fine..

i honestly believe that if i wasn't in a dual degree program..i would have had more time for other things...

interchanging the two was a beast and i do not advise that option to anyone...

sure having a master's degree and a professional degree is nice..but my quality of life those three yrs?  :'(

my parents used to have a running joke that's right we do have a daughter  :D :-\ :'(

stay off of BLSD in the fall.

I know you probably didn't mean to hit on it, HBCU, but you hit on a major point that I would add.  Remember that you are a person. Please take a shower before you sit next to me in contracts. And remember to call your mom--she's worried about you. Honestly.  These sound like minor things now, but when you get to be a 1L, you will understand what I'm talking about. Even though you could spend all of your time getting the little nuances of cases, and perfecting your outlines and briefs and memos, get what you need to know in as little time as possible, and then go do something fun. Or something that is not related to law school.  Your mind, body and soul will greatly appreciate it.

I cosign everything that has been said so far by the 2Ls.  ;) ;D
We're not accepting this CHANGE UP in the rules. Period. American presidents have been in the bed with organized crime, corporate pilferers, and the like for years. And all u want to put on this man is that his pastor said "Gotdamn America?" Hell, America.U got off pretty damn well, if you ask me...

What classes have the highest grade payofffs for increased effort. (eclude legal writing). Im trying to get some A's on the transcript.
UVA Class of 2009

Find out just what people will submit to, and you have found out the exact amount of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them..  The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.
