Are the old exams available in the library?

For the most part, although every school is different.

What are the best study aids?

In the interest of efficiency, we did rap about this question before in the other 1L thread.  Not to step on the toes of my nupe Young. 8)

WestLaw or Nexis?  I just had WestLaw training and fell in love with it!  That thing is scary!

I'm a Lexis man myself.  Can't really stand Westlaw, although those who get into it swear by it. Its too hard to navigate for my simple mind.

I can't figure out Lexis, but then again, I've never had training.  This WestLaw training made it simple.  I love that crap.

Lexis is easier to use, but more firms carry Westlaw.

Yeah, we did Westlaw 'cuz that's what Justice uses.

So question: Things you will need to buy before you get to law school?

Your books and a laptop and something to carry it in. That is all
