Special Summer Program???

Special Summer Program???
« on: June 02, 2005, 11:33:46 AM »
Has anyone here been "admitted" to a school for a special summer program that once/if you pass it, you gain admission to the school? If so, how was it? Did you pass it? Is it a scam (like incredibly hard, impossible to pass)? What did it entail?

I haven't been in one personally, but I hear they are fairly difficult.  Many are upper-level classes that would normally assume some basic knowledge, which makes them difficult.  Normally low percentages of the people who do these programs get accepted, and you must typically work as hard as in law school.  I believe they are also graded just like law school, so you have to beat the curve to get accepted.

I am currently in one of the programs, and it is rough. I posted a response in the WL section, since it appears that you have posted the same question all over the board.
