Hastings.
When you have somebody dying because they are poor and black or poor and white or because of whatever they are ... that erases everything that's great about this country.

But free is not free once you figure in living expenses.

OK I'm just partial to Hastings.
If it were my choice, I'd probably take the full ride.

Unless the OP is from the bay area, living expenses should be more expensive in SF than LA. So attending Loyola should still be significantly cheaper than Hastings.

Unless the OP wants to work in SF, I would say that a Loyola full ride is extremely tempting. Although Hastings is a good school, Loyola isn't too bad either =\

Loyola.

You'll have to make the decision of where you want to practice, since each region is probably pretty partial to their local schools ... but yeah, you can't beat free.

Is that true?  I've been figuring non-tuition expenses to be about $25k/year in LA and $20k/year at Berkeley.  Is that inaccurate?

Why would Berkeley be cheaper than LA?
I'm pretty sure the bay area is more expensive overall.

Yes, you're right, according to
http://www.law.ucla.edu/home/index.asp?page=1259
http://www.law.berkeley.edu/currents/financial_aid/

UCLA estimates less $ for rent and personal, but more $ for transportation and books/supplies than Boalt.  They both come out to $20k/.75yr though.  This makes a stronger case for USC than I had thought.

Thanks for the heads up.
