Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. Your normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop-heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow.

Its about Kerouac's  June 1965 journey to France to trace his Cornish ancestry.
I think it's great...but I love all his stuff.

One of my favorite quotes is

No prob. Yeah, i've read it-i think it's a great book. I'd also recommend Dharma Bums.  i just love that whole genre.
