Wouldn't that be nice?  At least then you'd know...

I'll tell you one thing, it probably wouldn't come until the end of summer for many students, since I know there are several people who receive their acceptances in late July/early August.

NOT fun.

(then again, you know what they call someone who gets accepted from the waitlist?  Accepted--just like everyone else who gets in.)

I would not hold my breath. You can wait if you really want to, but unless the school's yield is not what they predicted, you should not expect too much. But if you can wait until the end, you may get the last place.
