Let me tell you this: I personnaly do not care where I grow up as a lawyer. 
Believe me, if I dared to live and work in Isreal with its constant military alerts and the highest relative number of lawyers per population, Moscow will not scare me.   
Anyhow I spent most of my hours either in my office or in the courtrooms litigating cases. 
Do you think I should start caring now about Rolex, cabs and freedom of press?

No problem..I didn't take it personnaly ;-)  I work as paralegal in one of the best litigation firms in CA.  What about you?  Are you in America?  When and where do you plan to apply?

Well, they specialize in audit but have really strong legal department along with Coudert Brothers, Pricewaterhause, Deloitte...well, they used to have one in St.Petersburg and then there were some problems. So, all lawyers from SPb office are working for DLA now.

And the views are awesome too.  And we have a free press.  And you can get in to any taxicab at airport.

Well, I feel much safer in Moscow than in NYC or Philly. I've never been to SF though

Depends on my lsat which i'm taking in sept. I have a 4.0 so if i get a good score i'm shooting for harvard, yale and etc...
