one, you're right, i have no clue who tie domi is aside from a hockey player who, i assume, got in a fight or something of the sort.  i think it's more expected from hockey players for one thing, but not knowing the circumstances, i'm not sure.

yeah, i would have been just as pissed if it were him.  i get pissed every time tony stewart throws a temper tantrum or runs off at the mouth.  i get pissed that sergio garcia has no decorum on the golf course.  i think that athletes should be held to a level of decency that reflects their public profession

He got into a rumble with a fan.  Interesting point about it being more expected from hockey players (or accepted).  If hockey were a black dominated sport you know fighting would not be allowed right?  There would be calls to have those thugs arrested for any on ice fights.  I'm not defending anyone though Pres, all I'm trying to point out is the double standard that prevails.   

Tie Domi was in the penalty box and some fan was giving him hell.  He squirted the fan with water, so the fan dove into the penalty box and Domi whooped his ass.  Seems like the fan was more like Artest than Domi was.  Please recognize a difference between a guy diving into the penalty box and being beat down and A guy going into the stands and having a bunch of teammates go in as well, causing the biggest riot most of us have ever seen in American sports.

Also, you make a lot of assumptions (if hockey were a 'black; sport...).

I saw the video, and it looked more like either Domi pulled the fan in, or the barrier collapsed.  Either way, what was he doing squirting water on the fan in the first place?   Oh, and about that assumption: If hockey were a black sport....I stand by that.  Seriously, that's what I believe.

I was watching the game, the guy was trying to take a swing at Domi and the barrier collapsed.  Yeah, Domi should have gotten some suspension for the water, but it is an incorrect analogy to Artest.  Domi's water squirting was like Barkley spitting into the crowd (although spit is grosser than water, but it is still similar).  The Texas Rangers had a no name relief pitcher throw a chair randomly into the stands when they were in a little scuffle.  I believe he was Hispanic, but I don't know what happened to him.  He hit some lady in the face.

Yeah, I remember that as well.  Broke her nose...I can't remember what happened to him either though.  And I agree, the Domi situation is not a parallel to Artest.

Pres, it's just one of those things.  Kind of like a style in certain areas of the country.  It was like that in the area of Florida I lived in as well.  I just figured that they wear them in the summer because it's hot out, and the tees are cheap and simple, and just became cool over time.  Certainly no gang thing though, hilljack.
