I agree that neither of these degrees will probably travel particularly well but who knows.  I am headed to WUSTL myself and on my visit to St. Louis I was very impressed with the SLU campus.  It is very nice.

I don't know if this will be of any use to you.  My opinion is this.  Since neither school is one of the top 20 law schools, it will be harder to leave the area.  However, not impossible.  You may have to work locally for a few years and then move.  This is the thing, there are 189 law schools in the US, I cannot imagine that the only people who have flexibility in relocating are those who went to the top 20.  So, go to the school that will give you the best bang for your buck and leave you with the most options open at graduation.

St. Louis University seems to be the better option. Less debt after graduation and a better reputation to offer some variation when you decide to start your career in the Florida market.

SLU was the last school I applied to, and only because I'd already paid for an extra LSDAS report.  Visiting completely changed my mind about where it ranks on my own list though.  The campus and the law school building itself is GORGEOUS.  Would love to hear what your impressions are after your visit.

The Salvador Dali museum is near, beautiful beaches are near, Florida is near.  Go to Stetson.

I am officially attending SLU in the fall!  (Unless I win the lotto or FSU decides to change my hold status in my favor)  I really enjoyed my SLU visit.  The people were extremely friendly and the campus was surprisingly very nice.  Attending SLU does not mean that I am limited to the midwest after graduation. Firms recruit SLU grads from all over the country. (Especially if interested in healthcare law)
