Defferred Enrollment

Can somebody explain defferred enrollment to me? Does all schools have this option?

Deferred enrollement is just attending a program in the academic year after the one you originally applied for. Some schools give 1-2 year deferments. Some schools are liberal with them, others are not.

Another important thing to remember is that if you defer for a year, you may be locked into that school. Make sure you check the school's policy if you decide to do that.

Yes, if you defer for a year, you're locked into that school. You sign a contract that says that you will not apply to or hold another deferred position at any other school.
