Vandy, Notre Dame, IU-Bloomington Waitlists?

Know this is kind of a general question, but has anyone heard anything from these schools? I have talked to them all, but I want to see what they have told others. Sorry if this is annoying. To be fair, here is what I know:

1) Notre Dame will continue accepting some from waitlist later this month. There are 200 people on the list. As always, great people in the admissions office. Sometimes I just wish they would be like, "Look, it may not happen". 

2) Vandy had 4000 applications and put 1000 on the waitlist. They MIGHT take 15-20 of these. Very nice and honest admissions staff though.

3) IU has no idea. Again, very nice people. But since they have rolling deposit deadlines and do not require a monetary deposit, well...it could be a while. I have no idea how many are on the waitlist.


Meanwhile, my top choice I was accepted to back in NOVEMBER, so I am really starting to want someone else to tell me I am smart enough to study law. Oh well...anyone have anything to add to what I already know?

well boots i have nothing informative to add to this but i also have been waitlisted to vandy and well i'm sort of shocked by what you wrote

do they really waitlist 1/4 of their total applicant pool?

if this is in fact true, i would just like to say this: VANDERBILT ADMISSIONS OFFICERS ARE MORONS, COMPLETE AND UTTER, AND THERE IS NO REDEEMING TRANSGRESSIONS SUCH AS THIS

I was recently accepted from the IU-Bloomington waitlist.  I'm almost positive that I'm attending there, although I've got a large number of people pushing me towards the west coast (Lewis and Clark or Oregon).  Keep your hopes up and good luck!
