That's all fine and good, if it's true. But it isn't. I mean, in order for what you're saying to be correct, you have to establish that there is in essence a "vast west coast conspiracy" which is keeping Stanford in the top 3. Then you have to explain how this is possible while considering Stanford's relatively small class size, which leaves fewer alumni out there to help the "vast west coast conspiracy." There are some other issues I'm sure, but if you don't get the point by now you never will.

So tell me, if you were admitted to only Brooklyn and Stanford, and wanted either a BIGLAW job or a clerkship with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (himself a Stanford grad), which one would you attend? (Apparently Stanford travels pretty well for a "regional" school.)

i would pick columbia and/or umich over stanford, which i will do - i didnt apply to stanford - to be honest i may not have been accepted at stanford, but it really didnt interest me to begin with ....

from visiting both schools and talking to students i would probably choose duke .... michigan is very cold and the overall feedback i get is that duke gives you more options upon graduation ....

well, well, well... now, apparently UMich is the hottest shït on the block. does that mean that Duke will give you more options than stanford?
