Well I was an Art History major so I am TOTALLY prepared.

180.

This reminds me of a classic Dilbert strip:

(Dilbert sitting at a table with 2 marketing people)

Marketing person 1: We didn't invite engineers to the product planning session because, um...

Marketing person 2: Because we were art history majors in college!!

Marketing person 1: PARTY!!! WHOO-HOO!!!

Marketing person 2: So, how soon can you build the cloak of invisibility?

Marketing person 1: Let the man think, Clover!

psych and criminology; what could be better prep for criminal litigation?

Probably anything.

im sure being an inbred crack addict would be even better. oh wait, maybe sending a orotund wanna be to the dump in six pieces would be just tops:)

You have this going for you: Your major did seem to teach you how to use a thesaurus.

I majored in Electrical & Computer Engineering and Spanish, minored in Physics and German.
Did a year of a graduate program in Nuclear Engineering and Applied Mathematics...did ok, but not for me. Law is a much better fit, all things considered.

I keep telling my folks I'm going to medical school after getting my J.D., just so they could tell people their son is a doctor, lawyer, and engineer.  ;) (In jest, of course.)

Being overeducated is fine, but I am sick of being broke...

BS-Bus:Computer Information System, BA-Political Science

The reason they "recommend" a business, econ, or liberal background is that law school requires good analytical and writing skills. so if ur major, whatever it was, included tons of those two skills, you'll be in good shape.

Double in Economics and Law&Society (which is roughly the equivalent of Legal Studies). I'll let you know how well my degree in Economics serves me next year!

Major in Accounting (I will be able to sit for the CPA exam if I work in an accounting or tax related field for 2 years) and a minor in Business Economics.
