I love how corporate America acts like allowing people to wear “casual” clothes on a Friday is somehow a demonstration that they understand the need for work-life balance.  I don’t care if you’re wearing overalls, you’re still f*cking working.  And I’d wear a sparkling gold tuxedo with one of those Chiquita banana lady fruit basket hats M-Th if they’d give me Friday off.

I laughed out loud when I read this!  Yeah casual friday where I work includes allowing jeans, however all that this accomplishes is making me feel even less like working since I'm not dressed the part

Also, I pulled my favorite stunt today and came in wearing Birkenstocks with the intent to put on heels...haven't made it there yet.  So that said, I'm still wearing the Birkenstocks, jeans, a greyish-purple vneck shirt with a camisole underneath and a really funky purple necklace.
