Got my 1st Ding from Santa Clara (dated 4/29) today
Looks like they really are trying to get out all their responses by mid May.

Scurvy I only applied to three schools myself (OK 4 but withdrew from one before I got an answer).

It never crossed my mind before finding this discussion board that some people apply to a lot of schools. I thought most people applied to handful of places.

I think pluto is like me --  limited geographically and not willing to move for law school. Obviously that leaves fewer options.

yes I was limited geographically, financially, etc... I am a stay at home mom of four(5 and under) and need to work p/t law school around my husbands career......

Hopefully Golden Gate will want me....

When did you apply, if you don't mind me asking, and this was to their part-time program?  Your numbers seem really great for their P/T program, so I'm a bit shocked.

No prob, I applied early Jan but took the Feb LSAT which means my file went complete in March which I think was my biggest downfall.... Hopefully, Hopefully, I wont have the same fate with Golden Gate or I'll need to retake LSAT and do the whole thing again... oh my

If I were you I'd send a nice note to the Dean and let them know how disappointed you were and how great there school is blah blah blah, and probe them for what would make your app stronger in the future.

In other words, elicit out of them why the rejection.  I don't know if it would bear fruit, but it would be worth a try.  Who knows - maybe they'll take it as a sign of serious interest and reconsider.

By the way, have you thought about delaying a year and reapplying? Or are you eager to move forward?
