Downtown mall is very nice. Not at all chain-storish; varing types of shops and resturants.

Don't forget that you can purchase books on your student account. I bought my used Criminal law book and the books for Legal writing.  The lady in the bookstore said some people even buy 10cent candy on their student account. That's a little excessive, but it's easier than forking over the little money you may currently have in your banking account. I have a balance, so I'll just get less when my loan check arrives (whenever that is).

Apparently EVERYONE in this town jogs at all hours of the day and night.  I must have passed 2 dozen joggers going to Target, which I agree is much better than the K Mart.  I bought a lovely faux papasan for $28 and a set of sheets for $14.

More to the point, I just completed by "final registration" on ISIS, hopefully ensuring my money gets to me asap.  I was NOT registered for any courses, so I'm guessing still no section assignments....

I checked about 12:30 today...section assignments STILL not up.  *sigh*  However, the bookstore will be open this Saturday and Sunday so we can all herd in there to buy our books.  Yippee.

According to one of the peer advisors, sections won't be posted until the last minute (5pm Friday). I believe the bookstore will stay open until 7pm to accomidate students buying books.

Ha, maybe I just saw you at the bookstore! There are not many used books, so if anyone is in the market for them I would go sooner rather than later.

In my section (J) there are three Lauras (including myself).  This could get interesting! One of my course assignments is up, and a part of it is to interview another student in the section and email it to the prof... I will try extra hard to get another Laura for that.
