Not really sure. I think they go all over. UnfortunatelyI hear a lot find their way into trash cans. However, law school ad-comms are trying to make up for this by  giving extra weight to their apps so that they can break out of the constraints imposed on them by an uncaring society. HTH

Hey Jacy, I did nothing but read while I studied for 3 months for the LSAT. It just so happens I majored in Engineering (Electrical) and worked as a Math tutor before hand, so years of "skimming" reading habbits is hard to erase by "READING" a few WSJ articles or "The Economist" for a few months... I have the Nova book and it gives you pointers on what to expect the questions to be on while your reading. The only advice Kaplan gives you is get the gist of the passage and take little notes and go to the questions and pay attention to "hot" words. Oh and by the way, thanks for your compasion and helpful advice to improve my reading comp.
Dec LSAT here I come :)

acutally Kaplan does use real LSATs.  The 'free' one you can take in their center is one they have created but the ones in their classes are former LSAT exams.

I took the Kaplan class and raised my score 8 points. I think I could have done better yet had I actually done any of the homework assigned. I didn't even attend every class.

This is insane...this poost has been alive for over a year and has actually, by and large, managed to stay on topic.  How are people in such passionate hatred of Kaplan?  Oy.
