I noticed that a lot of the attorneys that work/worked here have a lot of family members who also are.  One guy had two siblings and his father.  Another has his dad, sister and himself all in the field. 

Just curious as to how many are going into the "family business"?

Just my asshat uncle.  The fact that he's a lawyer almost made me decide against it.

My dad was a founding partner in a construction litigation firm, but he gave it up when I was in college to pursue software development. He's much happier now...not sure how that bodes for my future profession. Luckily I have no interest in construction litigation...

i checked that there's only 1 non-lawyer in my family. dad, mom, brother, uncle, and both grandfathers all went to LS, although my mom went for 1L and then went back to teaching instead. little bro is only 17 but i'm sure he's on his way. BF's an atty too.

No one went to college in my family before my brother and me.  He stopped after UG.  Here I am.

I'm like maka, but a bit more extreme; I'm the first in my family to get an undergrad degree, let alone go to law school.

I'll be the first one in my family to study law. Some family members went to military school and fought in wars.
