because they are annually overrated, and because we (arizona) stole their co-offensive coordinator

Oh and also because at this rate, Lubbock won't exist in october and theyll be forced to move the game

C'mon, in Lubbock?  You know how obnoxious we are as fans.  If the Tech loses that one, our football team will have to go into hiding for a week.

Tech went to a bowl too.  It was a bad one, but we went.

Kansas is good once a year in basketball only.

There we go.

Hey Ever - I'm starting to check out flights for the game.  Still up for that road trip?

Sweetheart, I'd miss my friends wedding to see this game (I might actually have to). When are you wanting to head on up there? That Friday? I will be free for whatever around 11:30 AM or if you want I can skip my Friday class and we can go party with my very awkward friends that are still there. Or props, I hear he's kinda cool, too. What should we do about tickets? And is the brit coming?

They're taking down my favorite bar right around that time (to build parking for a damn swimming pool!), so if we get there and it's gone, I'm may have to have to give a silent toast.

---

OU-A&M will be a dog fight. Both teams should be settled by then, and we'll see what everyone is really and truly made of. My guess is it determines the Big XII South. A&M has a brutal schedule in my mind. Texas may be at home, but OU, Tech Missouri Nebraska and Miami for away games will be a huge test. Like a someone noted last year: A&M was the best 59 minute team in football; if the games were 1 minute shorter, we would have seen A&M playing Ohio State.

Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be the One.
Born to bear and bring to all, the details of our ending.
To write it down for all the world to see.
But I forgot my pen.

Hey, we can hang out with my non-awkward friends! I know a lot of people hanging around for grad school and such. I haven't looked at plane tickets yet, but I think if I buy them enough in advance on Southwest I can get them for under $200. I guess I would try to come in sometime late Friday.

Also, if anyone wants to buy student tickets, I can try to hook you up with an ID vaguely resembling you. I'm just going to bring my old ID, banking on the fact that they haven't changed them in years and won't next year.
