Ah, I'm dumb.  I missed the "law" part of that in my reading of the question.  Sorry about that.

It certainly would have been nice if Purdue would have had a law program, then I could have spent another rockin' 3 years in West Lafayette.

And by Hoosier, I typically imply someone who went to Indiana University, Bloomington.

Again, oops.

Gotcha, Nate. I, too, would have definitely applied to Purdue had they had a law school. Though I've been an IU woman all my life, my mother and SO are Purdue grads. I've never bought into that IU/Purdue rivalry. They're both great schools as far as I can tell.

I live in Nashville, right by Vanderbilt University.

Do you like Nashville?

Gummo: Nashville is a great city...most people that I know that have moved away end up coming back. I've lived here for 17 years, and it has definitely grown on me...it's a growing city...there's a lot more to do now than 10 years ago...but it still has the small town feel...i see people i know everywhere i go...it's a cool town...lots of music (NOT just country)...and Vanderbilt is in a prime location...is that where you are thinking of going?

I currently live in Boston, so I'm near Harvard, BU, BC, Northeastern, Suffolk and New England School of Law.

I also grew up in Connecticut, so I'm familiar with Hartford/West Hartford, for those attending UConn.

Finally, I went to school in Michigan and am familiar with UM, but that's about it.  Anyway, Lavia is probably more qualified to discuss UM and Ann Arbor because she's still out there.

I'm also from Boston, basically living at Northeastern this summer, also close to all the Boston schools mentioned above.  I go to school in Philly, so close to me during the school year is (in approx. order of proximity) is Villanova, Temple, and Penn.
In: BC, Northeastern ($), Quinnipaic ($$), Suffolk ($), Temple ($)
Waitlisted: W&M, W&L

Attending: BC

I second Boxergirl on Nashville.  I have a lot of relatives that I visit quite frequently in the area.  Tons to do, although its a travesty that they tore down Opryland.  I also have a good friend of mine waitlisted at Vandy who really likes the scene there.  I would consider Nashville to be one of the nicer cities in the south.
