I'll join in since I haven't seen any posts from people in the Great Lakes region of the Midwest yet. I live in Northwest Indiana, so I'm about a 25 minute drive from Depaul, Loyola (Chicago),  John Marshall, and Chicago Kent. I'm about 20 minutes from U of Chicago, and about 45 from Northwestern.

As for the Indiana schools, I live within a 45 minute drive of Valparaiso. I'm 150 miles from Indiana U in Indianapolis (though I went there for grad school), and 200 miles from IU Bloomingon (where I went for undergrad). Notre Dame is a good two hour drive from me. I've only ever seen it from the road.

Hello. I live near Detroit, MI, and am near
University of Michigan (have a friend who just graduated from there),
Wayne State (know several people from there),
University of Detroit,
Ave Maria,
and not too, too far from Michigan State and Thomas Cooley.

Cleveland... so I'm near Case.  Supposedly I'm not to far from UMich but the lake makes it seem like a lot farther.

Mimic: Typical answer from a Hoosier, not to mention Purdue (which is where I went).

I live in Prescott, Arizona.  3.5 hrs from U of A, 1.5 hrs from ASU, 1.5 hrs from Northern Arizona and 4.5 hrs from UNLV.

HCNate: I didn't mention Purdue for the obvious reason that they don't have a law school.

A Hoosier is anyone from the state of Indiana. I don't understand how not mentioning Purdue makes me a typical person from Indiana. I would think that not mentioning Purdue would make me NOT typical of someone from Indiana, as most native Hoosiers know that Purdue is in Indiana.
