I still have not gotten anything!  No award letter period!  I seem to be the only one...at least on this board.  I'm going to give it until Wednesday and if I still haven't hear anything I will be putting in a call to them.  It is after all already May and I feel that I should have heard something by now.

I called last week and a couple of hours later my report was available. however, since I submitted some of that revision paperwork, my FAFSA got updated and now my award info is gone from the website. so I'm back to waiting. At least I know they're working on it.

I finally got mine!  Yeah!

I almost had a heart attack when I got it.  The only thing that showed up on my screen was the award for Fall (I had to scroll down to see Spring) and I thought that was my reward for the entire year and I just about had a heart attack.  I literally started having chest pains and felt short of breath. (Yes, I know that I am a little high strung.)  I screamed at my SO, "Oh no!  They didn't even give me enough money to pay for tuition! What am I going to do?"  So he comes in and looks at the computer and points out that the reward is just for the fall.  I felt much better after realizing that the amount showed was only for one semester and the spring semester was at the bottom of the page.

At any rate, I have a couple of questions for yall UT folks:

1)  Are we supposed to report our UT scholarship on the EFAN thing?  Or is the EFAN thing just for outside scholarships?  I was unclear on this.

2)  How much did yall get in grants?  I'm wondering if everyone got the same amount.

3) What lender are you using for your private loans?

Did everyone have to upgrade to a high-assurance EID to activate their EFAN?

I upgraded, but today it told me I was not high assuarance. My grant is different from most people, because I am out of state, my grant might be decent, but I am still paying more than all residents.

Going with Access group for fed and private loans.

Turns out the financial aid folks were wrong and I did NOT need the high assurance.  For some reason, it just took 48 hours before I could activate.

I went with NorthStar, but very easily could have gone with Access and been happy.
