I just got in off the waitlist at Miami. I had been out of town for a while, and when I returned... there was an envelope waiting for me. I'm not sure if I will go there, but it's nice to have an option now.

A friend of mine, got accepted even though she did not repond to them when asked if she wanted to remain on the waitlist.

Weird....

but she will not be attending, so there is another spot!

Did you send anything to FSU or the other schools as well?

Do you think it means anything that things are already moving at Miami?  Compared to some other schools it seems a bit early...  Does this mean that maybe more of us waitlisters have a chance?

I was admitted from the waitlist on Wednesday (4/24/05).  Letter was dated 4/20/05, postmarked 4/23/05.

No additional interaction other than returning the waitlist card.

Deposit deadline (must be received by admissions) May 5, 2005.

Now must decided between IU-Indy with in-state tuition or U of M during finals week.  Fun.
