probably the same thing that happened to the "July 21" efan notification... mine didn't show up until the 26th after a lot of phone calls.  typical ucregents stuff.

everyone see that there will be another fee increase in january?  bringing it up to a 10% raise from when we applied.  by the time we graduate we will probably be paying MORE in total COA than a private school.

Well, the class schedules finally came... as for the fee increase, yeah, that's to be expected. When I started my undergrad in 1999 the tuition was something like $1200, $1300 per quarter. Now it's about double that. That's free public education for ya, folks! :-P It's still cheaper than USC though. The thing that sucks is that we're paying for the class action lawsuit brought by the previous class for the insane raises they saw; they got to keep their original low fees, and we're paying the difference. :-P

yeah, i was expecting a fee increase this year, but not another one in january on top of the one they approved for fall!  i'm coming from grad school at ucsd so it's an adjustment to go from paying $6K/year in tuition and fees to around $25K just because it's a "professional" program, but still a UC.  :)  your point about the class-action suit is a good one too.

anyway, enough griping.  what section did everyone get?  i'm in 5.

Don't know a thing. The textbook list doesn't look too bad; I wanna know what's missing (they say to budget like, $700-$900 per quarter; where does that go????). Did you get an orientation schedule yet? They were supposed to get emailed on the same day the class schedules came out, but I never saw it.
