Scratch Paper Question

Hi all,

The LSAC website says we'll be given scratch paper only for the essay. However, the instructions under section 3 of the sample test say we can draw a diagram if we want. How could we draw a diagram without scratch paper???

P.S. Is there a computer-based LSAT, or currently it's only paper-based?

Hey Peter,

That is correct, you will only be given scratch paper for the essay.  But there is plenty of room in the booklet to draw your diagrams and take notes on the questions.  Don't sweat it.

Since you only get scratch paper for the essay when taking the LSAT, it is a good idea to do the same on your practice tests.  I practiced doing my diagrams in the space provided in the test booklets and I had no problem doing same during the LSAT.  Once you get used to it, it's not that hard.  You'll be fine.
