I'll be moving at the last minute.  I plan on enjoying what may well be my last Florida summer, saoking up as much heat as possible to get me through an upper midwest winter.  Ick!

I did a lot of searches on martindale for iowa lawyers by city.  Seems that there are pockets of them scattered throughout the country.  I'm not sure on how to find any more specific info.  But I'd be interested to know seeing as how I've been nervous about the hiring situation as well.  What about externships and such?  Are people driving to chicago alot?  And summer employment?  Is there OCI recruiting for summer jobs?  I am assuming that people don't work in IC....

I'm worried that NALP is not up-to-date.  Do they update that thing at all, and how often?  I forgot to search martindale --thanks for bringing that up again; that would have been more efficient than searching individual firm sites.

If you're planning to move-in at the last minute, when are you going apt. hunting?

I'll be jaunting up there in May, to check things out.  I'm hoping to find someone who has a room and save myself the trouble...we'll see if that works out!
