3.6 and 160. I'm an undergrad at William and Mary though, and I got some good recs from people close to the president...I think that's been helping me along. I'm just waiting and praying.

Definitely helps, but your numbers stand on their own two feet as well.  How many letters of recommendation have you sent already?

I've only sent two with my original application. One was my academic advisor (who happened to be on the presidential search committee as well as other important committees within the school) and the other was my boss. I worked for her for 3 years and my boss is also part of the president's office. I'm wondering if I should send another application from a current professor of mine. Who knows what these committees want...

I had (another) fabulous visit yesterday and will be attending next year.  If anyone is visiting and happens to be in the bookstore (buying every W&M law apparel item they have, like I did) tell them you've just been accepted - they gave me a 30% discount

The staff there is just phenomenal.  I met with Assoc. Dean Wixson for 30 mins, then he took me to meet with the Career Servics Dir Ramona Sein, who was fabulous.  She had 5 students who came up to talk to me, specifically students working in DC after graduation or after their first summer like I hope to do.  I was with them for over an hour before I met with Dean Shealy again.  Overall, the students really sold me.  They were excited (even in the middle of exams) and gave me a million good reasons why W&M was the place for me - mostly the strong community.
