Denied at UNLV
« on: April 20, 2005, 10:19:01 AM »

Well I thought I would get into UNLV - 3.67 GP + 157 LSAT.  No luck!  Just got my denial yesterday in the mail.

I think i'm okay with it though - not sure if I could live in Sin City for three years.

Anyone else?

Yep, me too.
I was not at all surprised...especially when I noticed their class size. That plus being a state school...oh well!
Good luck with the rest of your choices!

So I called to check my status at UNLV and they said a decision was mailed out yesterday, from the looks of it it will be a denial.  Also looks like they sent them all out together.  Oh well Vegas would have been a distraction anyway.  :(

UNLV can gobble my fat veiny c0ck.  A 157 with a 3.71 (my stats) is more than qualified for a low tier II school.  They don't think that way, however.  They feel that their oh-so-prestigious class should be stocked with nothing less than a 160 (at least that's the way it looks on LSN).  What a bunch of pr!cks.  I hope those third tier toilet adcomms read this message and burn my focking waitlist card when they get it in the mail.

I cant believe they waitlisted you with your numbers.  Did you accept or decline to be on the waitlist?
