JD/MBA Degree
« on: May 28, 2004, 06:38:45 PM »
I will be starting my studies for a JD/MBA degree this fall.  Anyone else doing the same?

Aside from lawschooldiscussion.com (which I think is great), I just started a discussion board that is for all types of graduate degrees and those looking for combo degrees as well.  It never hurts to be a member at more than one site...

i'm probably not gonna get a MBA anytime soon...majored in business in college, didn't like it.

If i got into UT, I was thinking about the joint JD/MBA. But it would be tough convincing my wife to fund my education for an extra year.

I already have an MBA, which i just finished and i plan on going to law school next fall!  My question is, do law schools let you take fewer classes since you already have an MBA?

I am half way through my MBA program now.  I will be continuing it during law school by taking one class ever summer, and then finishing my thesis and my last class after I get my JD degree.
