Hey, don't knock the C6 vette.  It's a really impressive little sports car.  Personally, I'm leaning more toward a Lotus Elise or maybe an older BMW M3.  :-)

anyway, i'm not going to buy anything, i am going to rent a modest apt in manhattan and save my money to buy a nicer apt, bc renting sucks, and thanks to my scholarship i will have more money to save, oh and i will prob splurge on A LOT of clothes, it's an addiction

(1) 2b/2ba condo in Evanston, IL (I hope to work in Chicago, and I'm from California, so the prices don't scare me),

(2) followed by another one in Santiago, Chile (I love that place; also, my husband is from there),

(3) and then spend the next 8-10 years paying my loans and my homes off before moving to Chile for an extened "working" retirement...

I don't care if I make partner after the 10 years--All I need is the 125/year to pay off my loans and both Condos, then move to Chile and live off the rent from the Evanston place while I work doing whatever in Chile...Whether I get work as a lawyer or an English teacher, I'll have no rent in Chile, see...

A friend of mine bought a Saab convertible with her signing bonus when she graduated from LS and came straight over to my house after picking it up.  I got in the car and started lecturing her on what a waste of money it was....after about ten minutes of driving I started pondering law school.

You can get a signing bonus big enough to get a Saab convertible?
