NY Bar Admission Requirements

I will be attending NYLS in the fall.  I remember in my application there were instructions to contact the bar admission agency in the jurisdiction where I plan to practice to see if there is a requirement to register upon entrance to law school.  Is anyone familiar with such a requirement in New York state?

I'll also be attending NYLS this fall and I've looked into it at the New York Bar's website: www.nysba.org.

My stats:  GPA: 3.95, LSAT: 154, 10+ years WE
Am I reading correctly?  17 practice LSATs!! I admire your perserverance.  Maybe if I had practiced as much as you, my LSAT score would be a different story.  Good luck.
