I'm worried about the Dodgers this year. What can DePodesta be thinking? Nevertheless, Spring is the season of hope.

If enough things go right for the Dodgers, they will win the division, and after that anything can happen.

Worst case scenario, I still get to listen to Vin Scully occasionally.

As much as I hate the Dodgers, I have got to hand it to Vin Scully. He is THE MAN! I even have him in UCLA's favor in my "stupid soft factor" list comparing UCLA and UVa (along with: UCLA-In n'out across the street from my to-be apartment. UVa-Cheap booze, DMB).

As far as the Dodgers chances this year, I say 3rd in the west. Even missing Bonds for a period of time, they have an all-around good team, and San Diego has a fair shot as well. I think Dodger Stadium is a perfect fit for Lowe, but asking JD Drew to be your main offensive power (w/Finley) is asking for trouble.

Minnesota!  Twins win tonight and I was there. 
Seattle in the AL West - Richie Sexson was a great addition.
East - Red Sox

NL - I dunno - I have always liked the Cardinals, but they SUCKED so bad in the World Series - don't get me wrong I was very pleased the Red Sox won, but were the red birds even on the field??

Anyway - everything is ok again now that baseball has started.

As much as I hate to say it, Anaheim (or the LA angels of anaheim, as they are now called) has the AL west locked up. The Twins should take care of business, but I think the Tigers will surprise a few people. And as usual, the Orioles and Mets will overspend for a 3rd place finish in their respective divisions.

God. I remember coming home right after taking the October LSAT to watch that Giants-Dodger game (and A's Angels game). Got home just in time to see that 9th inning bullpen implosion.   And to think the A's bullpen made the Giants pen' last year look good.

Woot! Cards won last night.

(and yes, the WS last year was embarrassing.  But the Sox were on a momentum high that no team could have stopped.  Coming back from 0-3?  Against their archrival?  No way to stop that.)
