Anyone still waiting on Suffolk?
« on: April 05, 2005, 11:20:12 AM »
I got into NELS, but am still waiting to hear from Suffolk before I send in my deposit.  Also, Suffolk vs. NELS, any thoughts?

The concensous on this board seems to be Suffolk by a mile.  Have you visited?  Are you from the area?  I fell in love with Boston when I visited last week and I will probably be attending Suffolk.   The facilities are great and you can't beat the location.

Yeah, the area was nice.  I'm just torn between the two schools, Suffolk seems to have a better reputation but its also more expensive then NELS.

Just got my acceptance in the mail today, a few days after they sent me an email claiming they still didn't have my dean's certification. Probably some kind of mixup; they certainly took their sweet ass time admitting me.

Anyway Suffolk's my safety so I'll be withdrawing.

I'm also still waiting to hear on Suffolk.  However, in terms of their reputation and notable alumni in the area (networking) they are miles ahead of NESL.  I know they're similarly ranked, but it should be a no brainer.
