Please tell me this poll is a joke!  I'd hate to think that anyone out there was really stupid enough to think we are safer now.  Then again, enough people voted for Bush so maybe there is someone this stupid out there!

We went into a country to be "liberators."  Of course, then didn't work so well.  Now there is another country filled with people who hate us that 3 years ago probably didn't care enough to do anything to Americans and now would like to see them all dead.  I feel safer knowing that the number of our enemies have just gone up!

There are a lot of people who think we are safer.  I work with one.  He listens to Rush Limbaugh, because "that I way I know I've gotten all the important news."

Doesn't Bush want the nation to feel less safe? Isn't all this hype of a probable terrorist strike sometime in July kind of convienent for Bush's campaign of how he's made it safer for the United States (no terrorist attacks in the US since 9/11) and how he'll continue to keep it safe??

Oh and I know A LOT of republicans (most in my stupid firm working in Bankruptcy) who feel a lot safer with Bush as their president... It baffles the mind, but most of them are lawyers or aspiring lawyers.
