Bush wants to walk a fine line. He wants us to be afraid -- that's where defense contracts come from -- but not more afraid than pre-Bush II
Doesn't Bush want the nation to feel less safe? Isn't all this hype of a probable terrorist strike sometime in July kind of convienent for Bush's campaign of how he's made it safer for the United States (no terrorist attacks in the US since 9/11) and how he'll continue to keep it safe??
Oh and I know A LOT of republicans (most in my stupid firm working in Bankruptcy) who feel a lot safer with Bush as their president... It baffles the mind, but most of them are lawyers or aspiring lawyers.
