Do people actually use those decrepit law lockers to hold their text books?  Do we otherwise need to have 150 lbs of unneccessary bookage on our person at all times (8th grade style)?  Can't someone donate $95 to get new lockers?

Its a very young and fun crowd.. one of my neighbors just graduated from the UM LLM program for foreign lawyers and last time there were a bunch of UM 3L's there, too..

Does anyone know if we get our loan checks during the week of orientation or the actual first week of classes? It says the first week of classes in the FAQs but that's not very clear. I just need to know how to budget for the textbooks we have to buy for the first week (I'm really going to miss regular paychecks)

ok i was just told by my car insurance company (i have esurance) that i will have to get miami car insurance because my car will be there most of the time. I was planning on using my Michigan mailing address and using my michigan car insurance but now they know im moving so i need to find new insurance. Does anyone know of good car insurance in Miami and Florida in general? My insurance is really high because i was always under my parents before and now i'm on my own....

My real estate lady told me that Miami has the second highest insurance in the country.  Good luck. I wish I could be more help but I know zip about car insurance.

car insurance is super expensive in Miami..

I've always had progressive.. but i just switched over to Geico cause they quoted me cheaper.. I always just call around a bunch of places and go with whomever gives me the cheapest quote.. there is no logic and reason for the prices of car insurance down here.. they just all have different formulas that change all the time.. so shop around..
