Is anyone else but me peeved that they won't admit you for the quarter you applied for but will for Spring 2006? What's up with that? It's like saying you're not good enough for this quarter but you can come in the Spring when your numbers won't count in the USNWR.

Maybe I'm biased, but I think it's a nice way of giving some people that may not have good numbers but they think would be good students a chance.  Or maybe it's just me.

I think that it is a curtosy admit and it is not soley based on numbers manipulation. Baylor has a small class (even smaller when they split it up in three quarters) so it is extremely competitive. To me, a Spring admit is also piece of mind throughout the application process (and it's better than a waitlist). You would also have a better shot at a scholarship too.

I got Spring accepted today as well. It's a tough choice. Waiting a few more months and then going to Baylor would allow me to save up some $$$. Their BRUTAL curve is a bit of a turnoff, however; at UK you can get A+'s lol. If Baylor offered me some $$$ it would make it interesting.
