hey guys,
I got a letter about a week ago saying that I'm being put on the wait list to NYLS, which is really frustrating.  I also agree with you about tuition.  I just really want to go to law school in New York.  I live in Mississippi, but my boyfriend works in New York.  I've been wait listed to: NYLS, Hofstra, Syracuse, and Albany.  Albany was a shocker, I thought I would definately get accepted.  However, I thought I would get out right rejected from NYLS.  I hate this waiting.  I would love to get pulled off the wait list to one of these schools, but if it is at the last minute I don't know how I could do it financially.  Thankfully, I did get accepted to the University of Mississippi School of Law or as we call it Ole Miss.  It is a great school and tuition is a cool $8k a year, I just really wanted to go to NY.

I wish you luck, if that were you really want to be.  Just keep in mind that is ridiculously expensive, not to even mention living expenses in Manhatten.  You will be shocked coming from Mississippi.  Also, I would go for a visit if you can.  People have been posting that the building is horrible even though its in a decent nieghborhood.  Good luck!
