For my previous profession, I did. I found them to be largely useless.

With the advent of internet job postings, they have become largely useless.  For some jobs, in some regions, they do maintain an edge, I suppose, but their real benefit existed before any such information was available to the masses.

Unless you have significant experience, you're probably not worth a headhunter's time.
